This Isn't The Founders' Republic; It's a Transition to Something Else

So Boehner caved.

There is not now, nor will there, be any oversight of the Executive and Judiciary by their co-equal branch of Federal government, the Congress, because at this point, Congress is bought and paid for.

There, I said it.  Congress is bought and paid for by international moneyed interests.

This is primarily due to the twin poisons of the 17th Amendment and the Apportionment Act of 1911.  The former is the removal of states' input to the Senate, and the latter is the unconstitutional and arbitrary limitation of the House to only 435 people.

Using the Founders' Constitutional statement of one representative per 30,000, the US House should be 10,667 strong at this point. Such an enormous group of the American people's representatives could never be controlled as one. The elites knew that, hence the Apportionment Act of 1911, and the small group we have now.

By making the Senate into an elective position through the 17th Amendment, the elites now control each and every one of those seats through political influence, taking away the states' seat of power at the table.  To take political power from the people, the political jurisdictions nearest them must have their power drained away.

And now, the final piece to the totalitarian puzzle, a dictator willing to do anything he wants, is in place.

This Republic as the Founders imagined it is over, people. What we have now is a transition to something else.

The United will be divided.  Count on it.

The best thing to do now is to prepare.  Get thee to a free state, if you don't already live in one.  Get armed, get trained, get prepared to take care of your family, because war is coming, and in the chaos of war, predators take advantage and prey on those who cannot defend themselves.  There will be predators attempting to prey on your neighborhood.  Get a plan.  Know your neighbors.  Prepare.
