Some quick hits on the news today:
- Miss Joni Ernst did give a pretty good SOTU response, though (h/t Extrano). Sounds like she grew up like Ol' Backwoods did: poorer than church mice.
- No civil rights charges in Darren Wilson / Michael Brown case - Big, big surprise. Not. With no charges, one wonders why the city burned, and nobody is in jail for it. Like, say, Sharpton.
- When both Alan Gottleib of SAF and Bloomberg of Tyrants Inc. call you an 'extremist', and a newspaper praises Gottleib for saying it, you begin to wonder just who is on the side of the right to keep and bear arms, and who ain't. And again, why aren't you trying to get rid of background checks, Mr. Gottleib?
- Gun control looks likely to devolve into an attempt to start a 3rd American civil war. When that day comes, Mikey tells us what to do.
- We've got another state where they are trying to criminalize the act of handing a gun to someone else. Of course, the source of all this is the Bloomberg group.
- Woman loses her husband in an armed daylight robbery of a gun store, and Twitter idiots are saying "if he wasn't selling guns, he wouldn't be dead." There is going to be a counting of coup someday, friends, and I ain't going to be able to stop it, and neither are these unarmed idiots.
- Fulton County NY must be a nice place. I don't take back every bad thing I've said about your state, but if I'm going to NY, that's where I'd go. Still disarmed, but maybe some of them Threepers could give me a hand.
- ROFL! Even the Frenchy French decide "gun control" ain't working for them. Do tell.
- Regarding my warning about the Swiss banking cartel the other day, there's more. It's getting worse. Got preps?
- The women of America are arming themselves, all across the free states. Glad to hear it.
- From the even-a-stopped-clock-syncs-twice-a-day dept: Eric Holder attempts to do the right thing about civil forfeiture, says the gracious Claire Wolfe. Well, Ol' Backwoods has a story to tell sometime about my local cops and civil forfeiture, that I found out courtesy of the Police Explorer program my son was once in. Hint: it's why I took my son out of the program.
- #BlackLivesMatter, except when they don't: kooky white anti attacks black citizen lawfully carrying concealed. Kook goes to jail, anti's complain. Seriously? Dumbest Tweet ever, Ms. Watts. I mean, it's all on video; it's clearly assault of a peaceable citizen.
"Calling attention to the fact that he got his skinny tail beat would not advance his cultural Marxist agenda"
ReplyDeleteWhich ballot was Obama on? Obama won both his elections easily, next will be Hillary and the best the GOP can put up to stop her is another Bush or even worse 3rd time lucky Willard. The tea party are as useless ans irrelevant as ever on the national level, why don't you realize that?
As Obama himself said, though he was not on the ballot, his policies were.
DeleteFor all the protestations of the TEA Party types being "useless and irrelevant', there sure were a lot of their candidates elected in November. Of course, I know that elections are not going to fix what's wrong with America; not even a civil war can do that, and even if he have one--which looks increasingly likely--it won't be about what's wrong with our politics. People like me are sick to the teeth of the cultural Marxists trying to destroy our unique American culture, including but not limited to, God, guns and traditional small-town life. But I suppose none of that matters to you. Nor does voting for another Bush or "3rd time lucky Willard", both of which are also cultural Marxists, matter to me.
