A Little Too Late Now -- America's Already Addicted

From the Washington Examiner:

Poll: 71% of Obama voters, 55% Democrats 'regret'
voting for his re-election

Over seven in 10 Obama voters, and 55 percent of Democrats, regret voting for President Obama's re-election in 2012, according to a new Economist/ poll.
Conducted to test the media hype about a comeback by 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, the new poll found voters still uninspired by Romney, but also deeply dissatisfied with Obama who has so far failed to capitalize on his victory over 15 months ago.
The poll asked those who voted for Obama's re-election a simple question: “Do you regret voting for Barack Obama?”
— Overall, 71 percent said yes, 26 percent no.
— 80 percent of whites said yes, 61 percent of blacks said no and 100 percent of Hispanics said yes.
— 84 percent of women said yes, and just 61 percent of men agreed.
— 55 percent of Democrats said yes, as did 71 percent of independents.
It's a little too late now.  Obama, his minions, and whoever controls them all are in power now.  And it's going to be that way, until it suits their purposes to allow another.

America will never, never, NEVER be the same.  We cannot go back to the way we were.  America's innocence is gone; she has been ravished by her socialist suitor, and she'd smitten.  And she loves the warm glow of the free stuff.  She's addicted.  She's gotta keep that sweet, sweet stuff coming, and she will give her pusher ANYTHING to keep it coming.   She will give up rights, freedoms, money, law, ANYTHING to keep that sweet sugar flowing.

  1. That poll has been retracted by YouGov in its entirety.

    1. Thanks. I think it's likely that the poll was true, but they pulled it for political reasons.

  2. Obama didnt start that sweet sweet federal spending. HE did find ways to bring it to new levels, but it is not new.

    1. I know. But "socialist suitor" was a metaphor for the entirety of the welfare state.

  3. If they really regret it, they should join those of us who weren't stupid enough to vote for him in the first place in demanding our representatives impeach him and our senators convict him. He should also be charged with treason, convicted, and hanged.

    1. I agree, but do not believe that will ever happen. The Congress is a co-conspirator.
