Sunflower Seeds from the Garden

Ol' Backwoods harvested quite a few sunflower seeds this year, from four plants.  I had a lot of trouble with bugs, but I think I know what do do next year: hit them hard with DE and Neem Oil early, while the bugs are small.

Still, this is the final result, roasted and salted:

I used about two cups of water with 4 tbsp of salt, and swished the seeds around for about 5 minutes, then soaked them overnight.  After that, I roasted them in the oven for about 3 hours at 180 degrees.
