44% Think US Government Will Confiscate Guns

Count me among them.

A sizable number of Americans think the federal government is coming after their guns.
Forty-four percent (44%) of Likely U.S. Voters believe it is at least somewhat likely that the government will try to confiscate all privately owned guns over the next generation or so, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. Fifty percent (50%) feel gun confiscation is unlikely. This includes 20% who think the government is Very Likely to make this move and 23% who say it’s Not At All Likely.
The survey of 1,000 Likely Voters was conducted on March 30-31, 2013 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.
My response?  Duh.  Of course the government must confiscate guns, especially in the cities.  They must get out ahead of the economic collapse, before the EBT cards stop working and the cities become war zones.  Problem is, they won't confiscate guns from "the hood", or any other criminal areas that are likely to shoot back.  They will target the lily-livered wage slaves like me, who will give them up so their wives won't have to write on the floor in her own blood, as they lay dying, full of Feds' .40 cal hollow points.
